The word wrap (CSS3) property specifies whether to break a word or not if element (like paragraph, div etc.) has less space. Or otherwise avoid over-flow of long words beyond boundary of containing element.
The clear property is used to specify floating of other element. By default you can float an element in either direction, left or right of other element. However by using clear CSS property you can specify which direction to allow and to not allow other element’s floating.
You might have noticed thumbnail images attached to a blog posts in landing page or post pages to the left or right of first paragraphs or summary of posts. Similarly big first letter that covers 3,4 or more lines of text in news websites, articles or magazines. Both are shown in examples below.

The visibility property is used to display or hide specified HTML elements. The visibility property value as hidden makes specified element invisible. An element made hidden with visibility: hidden will occupy element’s space.
The CSS display property is used to display or hide specified HTML elements. The display CSS property value as none makes specified element hidden. The element will be hidden the way as it does not exist in web page. Or you can say an element with display: none would not occupy any space in web page.
While using browsers or operating systems we come across different cursors while using mouse. For example hand cursor for links (pointer), ‘I’ type while in text box, resize etc.
The hover is state when mouse is over certain element of document. Generally it is used for HTML links. However hover state also applies to other elements like Div, headings, paragraphs etc.
